Steven Bost

Steven M. J. Bost

is a Murphysboro Red Devil, a Saluki, a United States Marine, a fourth generation Murphysboro business owner, an Illinois attorney, a blessed husband and a father of three hilarious boys and a beautiful baby girl.

Steven advocated on behalf of Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers around the world, from Yuma, Arizona to Al Taqaddum, Iraq. He has also advised generals and commanders throughout the Marine Corps and the Pentagon. Today, Steven wants to advocate for you. Whether crafting an Estate Plan, Will, or Trust; advising you on structuring your business; or representing you regarding an employment issue, Steven will passionately and effectively advocate on your behalf.

Benjamin Youther

Benjamin W. Youther

is the firm’s newest addition, Ben grew up in Murphysboro, graduated from Southern Illinois University Department of Cinema and Photography and SIU School of Law. He is the proud father of a lovely daughter.

After completing his legal education, Ben provided legal services to several private law firms throughout Jackson County. This experience allowed him to excel in advanced legal research and writing at both the trial court and appellate level. Subsequently, Benjamin accepted a position at Shawnee Mass Transit District, a state and federally funded Municipal Corporation. His duties included grant writing and program compliance, procurement, drafting and revision of service contracts and internal policies, and providing advice and counsel to administration and the Board of Directors. Ben’s prior experience in not-for-profit administration, employment matters and grant oversight serves as a welcome addition to Miller and Bost.
